When the Student is Ready… Pt 3

This is the final part of this article and probably the most important thing to get from this post is that as students, we get to choose which direction we want to go in.

What this means is that life (as the teacher), doesn’t impose itself onto us, whenever we’re ready, we get what we need. The sooner we realise that we are the ones that create our reality, the sooner we get to live more joyfully.

The only reason that things may not be going as you would like them to go is because you haven’t yet opened up to new possibilities and life (as the teacher), keeps showing you difficulties so that you look for a new way.

So you see, even when things are not as we like, there are little gems to help us to change direction.

The question is, are you willing to give up that old conditioned part of you?

Much Love,

Angelo Campione

Statistics & The Present Moment – Pt 5

So how do you create a better future from the present moment?

Well, firstly it’s about letting go that the future will give you anything that you don’t already have now. You might say, well when I have a good job, or a million dollars, or the right partner, or better health, then I’ll be happy or feel better than I do now.

Sadly, this is how most people go about their day-to-day life and then wonder why nothing that is achieved seems to fulfil them.

You see, it all starts with how you feel right now. And how you feel is determined by what you’re thinking, so if you can begin to notice the thoughts that are going through your head, you’ll get a clear feeling of whether it feels good or not.

If it feels good then you’re in alignment and your next moment (future) will be an extension of this one. If on the other hand, it doesn’t feel good, again your next moment (future) will be an extension of this one. If this is where you’re at, it’s time to consciously reach for a better feeling thought or simply focus on your breathing to reduce the mind chatter altogether.

As you practice this you’ll begin to slowly shift your consciousness so that you become the deliberate creator your were born to be, and then life begins to look magical!

More tomorrow…

Statistics & The Present Moment – Pt 4

So why is the present moment so special?

Well, the past has already happened and so nothing can be done to change it and the future is an unknown point waiting to be created by the quality of being-ness in this present moment.

In other words, where you are right now is where your point of power is, you can literally create whatever future you want out of the thoughts, feelings and actions you’re bringing right now!

And if you’re not consciously bringing anything in particular right now (which is the state of being for most people), then your future will be the same as what you’ve been getting so far!

More on this tomorrow…

Our Self

Our Self, that lives within, Joy is our name, All is well and all is Allowed.

Enjoy-in this moment, present here and now, and as this moment is allowed, the life force that is our source flows all about.

If we find ourselves in circumstances that feel painful, know that we are always worthy and deserving of Love and can find Joy.

As it is within so it is throughout.

You Can Have What You Want

Think about someone you consider has been or is successful, and then ask yourself, “What do they have that I don’t have?”

Are they smarter than you? More persistent? In the right place at the right time? Better looking? Lucky? Well connected? Have a better family background? More creative? Have more money? Are more educated? Have a bigger house? Have a better car? Have fame?

This line of questioning assumes that you do feel that there is something lacking within you so that it feels that others are in some way in a better position than you.

If you feel full and you know that everything you desire is already within you and it’s simply a matter of allowing life to unfold, then this won’t apply to you, but you may find it interesting reading anyway.

If there is something that you want that someone else has and you feel that you’ll unlikely achieve this, then you’re resisting the natural flow within you and blocking yourself from receiving.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that you want that you can’t have, it’s a birth right that whatever is within your realm of desire, is within your ability to have in your NOW. I know that it may not feel that way when you see lots of obstacles in your way, but it is assured.

The paradox is that if you feel that the chances of you succeeding are low then no matter what formulas or guides for success you find or actions that you take, you won’t succeed. It’s a little trick of life that if you know that something is possible for you, then you can allow it in.

When you want something, every fibre of your being needs to be in agreement with it otherwise it simply won’t happen. It’s like getting into your car and saying to yourself, “I’m going to work now”, but then finding that you’re arm doesn’t move to stretch out and turn the key to start the engine.

I had an interesting experience recently, where I had an outing and needed to get up very early to get there on time. The alarm went off and my mind was saying, “it’s time to get up now”, but only the muscles in my right arm flickered like they were getting ready to push me out of bed, the rest of my body wasn’t responding. Without the full cooperation from the body, I wasn’t going anywhere, it was interesting to watch this and eventually I got myself into alignment to get out of bed because the outing was important to me.

So why wouldn’t you allow yourself to succeed at something that you want? It’s because of beliefs that have been established through past conditioning or childhood.

In theory it’s quite simple to say, “well I’m going to allow success”, but the reality is that it’s a gradual process of turning around and changing the old deep beliefs.

So how do you change the deep beliefs that don’t support you?

You do it through looking for things that have you feel better in this moment.

This is a KEY aspect, look for joy everywhere, the little things, the big things, anything. I know that it’s not easy when there’s so much stuff around you that triggers past pain, it can be in something a colleague says or does, something a family member or partner says or does, something you see on TV, something the government does, absolutely anything can be a trigger point.

If you start by becoming aware of when you don’t feel so good and see if you can find the trigger point, see if you can allow that you are going to be triggered (I call it getting “zinged”) and forgive yourself for being zinged. Slowly, with this awareness, you’ll get to a point where the awareness will grow to the extent that you will realise that something has happened that you would normally have reacted to (a zinger), but now you have a choice and you can respond from a place that feels better to you, rather than more pain.

A final point I want to make is that the essence of who we are at our core is the same as that which created the universe, this energy is capable of anything and it’s at our command! We generally have an inkling that we are powerful beings but we’re often fearful of letting that power out because we think that we’ll annihilate with it. For this reason, it’s a gradual process of learning to allow that power to come out so that it’s used to experience joy rather than create pain.
