Dalai Lama Quote

Making a habit of concern for others’ well-being, and spending a few minutes on waking in the morning reflecting on the value of conducting our lives in an ethically disciplined manner, is a good way to start the day no matter what our beliefs or lack of them. The same is true of taking some time at the end of each day to review how successful in this we have been.

The Shocking Truth About Success

We often think that if things aren’t going well for us, to have things change, we have to “do” something different. There’s a saying that goes, “if you want what you’ve never had, then you need to do what you’ve never done”. But the thing is, you can’t create lasting change through action alone.

There’s always one thing that happens before action is taken, and that is “thought”. Whether you are conscious of it or not, you have an idea that leads to you getting up and doing something.

The problem is, without a foundational shift within you, the actions you take will most likely lead to recreating very similar circumstances again.

Let me give an example, lets say that each month you keep aiming to save money but invariably you find that something crops up with you car or your home and you have to spend the saved amount. It seems like there’s no choice but to take the action of getting a second job in order to begin saving.

What we don’t realize is that this action is based on either doubt, fear or worry! When we take actions from this place of powerlessness, the results can never be what you want because your focus is on avoiding what you don’t want!

Let me say this another way, when you take actions in the “hope” that something will turn out well, because you fear or worry that it won’t, then your underlying feelings are shining a light on the things you not wanting. And life has a way of giving us whatever is our dominant focus rather than what we may say we want!

You may notice how people will say, “I just knew things weren’t going work out”, how can they know it? It was their dominant intent.

The thing is, how we feel about something is what we send out in a vibrational sense. To understand this, think about sharks, they sense vibrations in the water and their instinct is to attack and eat something that vibrates fear. It’s for this reason that people that are completely comfortable with sharks can be in the water with them, the shark senses that they are at ease and therefore not something that triggers the attack instinct within them.

You’ve probably heard about the Law of Attraction, this law states that like vibrations are always attracted to each other. So if you focus on something you desire and “feel” anxious or overwhelmed, then don’t take action yet, your dominant vibration will be the anxiousness and overwhelm!

The time to take action is when it feels like a natural, logical step to take, without forces or struggling. Strain, pain and effort don’t come into the equation when you are aligned from within. Success is guaranteed when you are aligned because you realize that the joy of being aligned is the real success, the outcome of it just a nice bonus!

Remember, you can outwardly pretend be a positive person but unless you make small changes so that you feel better within yourself in the moment, the success you desire is likely to stay at bay.

Dalai Lama Quote

“Just as we should cultivate more gentle and peaceful relations with our fellow human beings, we should also extend that same kind of attitude towards the natural environment. Morally speaking, we should be concerned for our whole environment.”

Personal Development Turned Upside Down

This may ruffle a few feathers but one of the key reasons why most of people don’t notice any real shifts from doing traditional Self Help or Personal Development type programs is because the focus is on symptoms rather than the underlying imbalances.

If you don’t have enough money, it’s not a money problem, it’s an imbalance in how you feel about money. If you don’t have a good relationship with your partner, it’s not a relationship problem, it’s an imbalance with how you feel about relationships.

The issue with personal development is that it implies that as a person, we’re deficient and need to be developed into something else (better). In other words, we have one set of symptoms and we need to have a better set of symptoms.

To understand this, consider that from the moment we’re born, we are creating an identity for ourselves (a story), trying to understand the environment we’re in, this is the way the human mind works. This data gathering happens up to around the age of 5, at which point the base identity is in place.

We now have a basic understanding of how we fit within our environment and what we need to do to survive. From this point onwards, everything we experience is interpreted from that basic understanding, even when we become adults!

It’s for this reason that often when people get angry, the behavior becomes childlike, the core survival mechanism that was developed in the early years is triggered and the situation is dealt with in the only way that person has been preconditioned to deal with things.

This often leads to a general unhappiness for life and the desire for better circumstances. This is usually the point at which personal development comes along to help the person resolve the unhappy story, for a happy one.

I’ll say that another way, there’s one story where unpleasant things keep showing up and we then start looking for better story in the hope of finally living a good life through good things showing up.

It’s natural to want a good life, there’s nothing wrong with that, it just helps to know that you are whole right now and that there’s greater part within that has been covered up, up to now.

If you doubt this, look at a contented baby, they emanate joy and you find yourself smiling simply by looking at them. They remind us of the joy that’s in our own hearts and so if we know that joy already, it means that the only reason that we’re not experiencing it right now is because we’ve blocked ourselves off to it!

The process then is discover that part of us that is covered under the layers of story that was put in place from childhood. In this sense, what we’re wanting is “Self discovery”, where we find our true essence, that foundation that provides the security to take confident steps in the world.

This is where I believe the personal development world is moving to. It’s the integrity we’re looking for and it takes care of the imbalances automatically. This is the foundation we all want and it goes beyond whatever you think the outside world can provide. If you find this of interest, go to http://www.foundationalwealth.com

Kind Regards,

Angelo Campione

Two Wolves Story

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, “My son, the battle is between 2 wolves inside us all.  One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy,
sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Special Choose To Believe Event

You may have heard about Alan Tutt of PowerKeys Publishing before. Well now he’s giving access to his excellent Choose To Believe workshop recordings without charge, when you fill out a short survey form.

Alan just advised me that there are already over 600 people attending this online presentation of his workshop, and there’s still time for new people to get in before it closes next week.

To join the workshop, just fill out the short survey, at:
www.AlanTuttPresentation.com

Here are some of the comments expressed by those participating in this powerful workshop experience:

*****************************************************************
Alan, THANK YOU! For making this series available, for putting into words something I have tried to explain to others for years and years, for the valuable information which I believe will be life changing. And it feels like a belief that is 100% (not split) and one I can live with <grin>.
*****************************************************************
Your system is going a lot deeper than others I’ve seen in that very useful and practical steps are given, taking us beyond just the idea that we create our reality.   Breaking free of limiting beliefs and bringing in new beliefs is empowering.  That sure feels good.  I’m looking forward to the modules to come.
*****************************************************************
I agree completely that the important thing is OUR own beliefs–but what a relief to finally have a way to identify the beliefs that need healing! No wonder when someone would say, “you must not feel you deserve it” or whatever, that just didn’t help.It has really been stunning to get at the exact issue. I already
started affirming different thoughts to myself today, and the response was amazing. Of course, it could be that it is Easter, but really I think it is at least partly because I could feel how different my own vibration was.
*****************************************************************
For more years than I care to remember, I’ve been trying to get a grip on making practical, everyday use of faith, but I’ve always felt that there was a degree of uncertainty, and having to reach towards an ‘ideal’ state that was never quite accessible… that the results we achieved depended on how hard we worked towards achieving that level (clearing our minds of doubts).  As a result, I’ve never had a lot of success with it.  I’ve now suddenly realised, listening to Module 2, that the reality is actually much simpler and more mechanical (automatic) – it’s just a case of identifying the conflicting beliefs and reducing their
‘weighting’, until the desirable ones win over; then the results are a foregone conclusion!
*****************************************************************
What I like about this approach is that beliefs seem to be easily clarified, with the right questions, so that digging into the past is not so necessary.  Seems to me that beliefs can be seen
in how they are right now, rather than going into endless anazlysis of the past.  Having to dig stuff up could take forever if that was the case, given all the innumerable experiences we have from birth or before until now.

It became clear to me with this module that miracles can happen instantaneously when theres a change of perception/belief. That’s a huge new belief for me.  I’ve actually had that thought before, but this module solidified it.  It was only an intellectual concept before.
*****************************************************************
I have to admit that most of the material in the first workshop (including the science… I have a science background) was pretty familiar territory for me: no great surprises, there. It was good, though, as a refresher – thank you for that. Perversely, the main thing that was ‘new’ for me was the realisation that -
in a very PRACTICAL sense (before you even start thinking about the more esoteric aspects) – what we think about and dream really does determine what comes to pass… simply because it changes
what we DO! Obvious, when you think about it – but somehow that simple thought had eluded me all these years (I’ve been on the ‘path’ for many decades!) Listening to your recordings suddenly
brought it into focus. Looking forward very much to the further material, as it emerges!
*****************************************************************

And all of this is just from the first 2 modules. There are 7 modules in the series.

One of the unique things about this special workshop presentation is that Alan is personally responding to questions on the workshop blog. This means that you can get direct 1-on-1 access to the author for clarification on any point that is not 100% clear to you.

To join the workshop, just fill out the short survey, at:

Warmest Regards,
Angelo Campione
